The overall structure planning takes the relationship between the city and the surrounding land as the starting point, forming a spatial structure characterized by "one axis, one belt, multi-level penetration, two interfaces" based on function, space and forms. Relying on the currently available forest land on the north side of Baikang Road in the base center, forming a green axis runs through the land in east-west direction, connecting with World Expo Park and Baiquan Park, and become an important core of public activities in the region, namely "one axis". The belt-shaped green space along the planned road combined with the green land of residence group on the west side forms a green living belt that runs through the north and south, that is, the “one belt”. On this basis, with “one-axis” and “one-zone” infiltration into various blocks, a network of green slow-moving system is formed within the planned land, that is, “multi-level infiltration”. "Two Interfaces" is an urban landscape interface composed of Yankang Road and Baikang Road. The urban design spatial structure featured with "one axis, one belt, multi-level penetration, two interfaces" forms a small-scale town of World Expo Park.
