Cultural Tourism Scheme Planning of Hexin Island on the Hutuo River

Hutuo River is the mother river of Shijiazhuang, and the hexin island is located in the diversified culture area where is the intersection of Zhengding ancient city culture, Tayuanzhuang village nostalgia culture, Shijiazhuang red culture and ecological culture, etc. Through the four strategies of ecology, culture, industry, and tourism, the plan takes "Hutuo Ecological Heart·Dream Vitality Island" as the planning and positioning, and builds Hexin Island into an important node for creating a comprehensive tourism demonstration city, a benchmark for ecological civilization innovation in urban islands across the country, and a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei experiential holiday resort. The planning forms a spatial planning structure of "leading by one axis and co-existing with four districts". The ecological integration development belt connects important functions and landscape nodes, leading the integrated development of ecology, culture, sports and tourism throughout the island; in the Ecological Recreation Zone, using the ecological background, combined with the public open space, to create a natural, recreational and ecological territory in the modern urban space. In the Sports Zone, it introduces the world's trendy interactive and experiential sports programs to create a multi-dwelling sports and entertainment paradise. In the Tourism Theme Zone, with themed entertainment and tourism service functions as the core, it provides one-stop, immersive tourism services of "food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping and entertainment". In the Cultural Experience Zone, combined with the current architectural renovation and the construction of cultural themed landscape nodes, the history and culture of the Hutuo River are displayed and experienced intensively.
