Conceptual Urban Design of Xiake Bay Science City

Xiake Bay Science City is located on the banks of the Yangtze River and the north wing of Wuxi, and is the core area for the coordinated development of Xicheng Area. The design starts from the wetland and starts from the former residence of Xu Xiake. The circular urban interface echoes the ecological core and extends northward, forming a spatial structure context, effectively anchoring the surrounding construction areas, embedding Xu Xiake's ideological core into the urban core through space language, time and space, and endowing Xiake Bay Science City with a unique place temperament.

By utilizing four spatial strategies of context empowerment, habitat as the core, plate extension, and smart connectivity, we aim to build an ideal urban hyperlink that integrates work and life, thereby establishing a flexible development framework that benefits both nature and humanity, and exploring the Xiake Bay solution for the new generation of science cities.
