High Line Park of Beijing Municipal Administrative Center

In line with urban development, the Six Ring High Line Park is a practice of transforming gray infrastructure into public green space. We adopt the design concept of "weaving the green with high lines, and sailing lightly in the forest ", capturing the prosperous scene of "thousands of boats gathering in parallel" in the upper reaches of Zhangjiawan in Chinese ancient history, and depicting the urban forest landscape.
Our design concept is to carries out ecological transformation of the existing roadbed of the Sixth Ring Road, maximizing the preservation of the current characteristics of the topography. In the interweaving of blue and green spaces, diverse functions are implanted, such as leisure walks, ecological education, technology experiences, cultural displays, and sports. The Linear green park connects the urban space on both sides of the east and the west, providing a transformative social and environmental role in the transition from urban hard landscape to the blue-green space. It will become a 24-hour ecological living room, bringing vitality to the city continuously.
