Beijing Graphene R & D Base Project

This case is located inⅠ-23 plot of Yongfeng Base: the west side faces the small-scale block, the south side faces the open interface of the city, the east side faces the urban expressway, and the north side faces the relatively closed urban interface.

Based on the analysis of the status quo of the site and the integration of space classification, the interior of the base is divided into office and living area, scientific research and academic exchange area, and experimental logistics area according to the degree from openness to closeness, they jointly form the overall image of the park of symbiotic production, life and ecology.

At the level of space operation, the design focuses on creating three public ecological space nodes of etiquette, life and logistics, and a slow-traffic system of multiple linear tree-lined boulevard, forming a spatial form of coordinated connection between points, lines and planes, and defining a reasonable internal and external traffic flow lines. The diverse and multi-level public space design communicates the building space and indoor and outdoor space, breaks the ecological boundary of production and living, and creates more opportunities for open communication and dialogue with the environment.
