Project Design of AVIC R & D Exhibition Center

AVIC R & D Exhibition Center has two main design features. The first feature is that, it is different from the design sequence of planning-architecture-landscape in the design steps of previous urban complex. This design employs a way to combine individual building design and jointly advancing. Use the "urban scale" composed of the crystal-like office building group and the green island podium instead of the "architectural scale" with the image of a single tower to create the landmark and space speciality of the building complex on this land lot.    

The second feature is the commercial podium covered by continuous green roof. The main function of this part of the podium is display and commerce. This plan combines the two to create an aviation-themed business model, and the corresponding design is conducted for the undulations of the roof according to the height of the space. At the same time, the green landscape is combined with this "green island" to develop on multiple levels. It adopts a number of ecological technologies such as roof planting and rainwater collection to create a unique space atmosphere and provide a good office environment for the office buildings group above the podium.
